About This Site

This site is about my adventures in life as I master the art of happiness as I get older. At least that is a start!

  1. I simply could not depart your web site prior to suggesting
that I really loved the usual info a person provide on your visitors?
Is going to be back regularly to investigate cross-check new posts

  2. Cathy, I was so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I was given his book as a gift years ago but it was lost in a house fire. I have since ordered another. I am also dismayed at hearing about the relationship you did not get to have with him.
I am writing a book now; my first and probably my only book. I would like to use one page of his work and I need to get approval to do so. I’m hoping you can direct me to who I might get that permission from. I assume it would be his current widow.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me with this.
    Blessings and “Go Girl!”,

    • Hello, Karen. It is still amazing to me how people connect. A former student of Dad’s found me through a you tube video I posted. And thank you for your empathy. I think permission would come from his publisher, Wadsworth, since they own the book. I am a writer for Boeing and who owns what can be tricky sometimes. If they pass the ball, let me know and I will try to help connect you with her. Aside, it looks as though you are in the Seattle Area? At least that is the phone number on the website linked to your name.

I picked up the fourth edition of The Art of Wondering at a used book store. I love it so much, I got on line today to find and thank the author. I am so sorry that your father has passed. I am addicted to books and own enough to fill an entire basement, especially books about philosophy and psychology. His book is literally and figuratively at the very top of that massive collection. His legacy has just increased by one more life.
